This thread has made me question why I keep renewing.
It's because I can continue to buy away tickets if I have a ST. If I could get tickets for 75% of aways without a ST I wouldn't buy one. I look forward to away matches because they're a laugh even when we're regularly shit.
Home matches are often just shit. But the truth is the prices are reasonable. It's the one promise the shysters kept.

Fifth- but travel is down to you not the club. Apart from season ticket and cup games you don’t have to spend anything on the club, our choice. We moan about prices but having gone to a few venues over the year it’s lower. They were charging £8.50 pint.

RM10 - travel is a cost that you can't get around
But in terms of everything else I agree, I never buy refreshments there. Rarely buy club merch except if it's on sale for the saucepans.

Looking at the positives:
15th richest team in the world
11 straight years in the Prem, with an average league position in that time of 11th
Just won a European trophy, and qualified for our 3rd successive season in European competition
In the Europa League (pot 1 no less!), and have one of the highest coefficients in Europe
62,500 capacity, for now, but is going up - 55k season tickets
No wonder they've sold out - all you have to do is proper club marketing...

What are the other costs that screw the fans? As I see it, if you attend matches then ticket costs are non negotiable. Every other cost you incur is optional.

Have a read of the transfer thread, we have failed already on that particular aspect, got the manager putting off players signing (Scott), not bidding or even attempting to sign anyone half decent (Barnes)

Last season was first where I had hundreds of quid club cash because I sold so many times on ticket exchange because the football is so dire. But you can always sell that way and so I'll renew in the hope that we are more entertaining and knowing that moyes will be out one day.
